Volkswagen debuts Jetta TDI Value Edition
Thu, 09 Jan 2014There was already a lot to like about the diesel Volkswagen Jetta TDI CleanDiesel, most of it having to do with fewer fillups, and so for 2014 Volkswagen is debuting a new Jetta TDI Value Edition that slices more than $2,000 off the price of entry. The Oregon coast is their destination, and the team is following a route based on an off-road motorcycle trailed created by Sam Corero, a famous off-road motorcyclist who charted this trail back in the 1990s.
Concept Car of the Week: Toyota EX-III (1969)
Fri, 09 May 2014The Toyota EX-III was presented at the 1969 Tokyo motor show, alongside the EX-I and EX-II concepts. It was by far the most advanced and portrayed a Japanese answer to the American and European dream machines. Just like its smaller sibling, the EX-1, the mid-engined EX-III was designed 'for the increased safety and comfort that tomorrow's high-speed travel will demand,' said the brochure.
