McLaren 12C Spider: Lots more new photos arrive
Sat, 13 Oct 2012The McLaren 12C Spider was revealed in July, but with just a handful of photos available. But now McLaren has rectified their photo count. Even when the 12C Spider took its public bow at Pebble Beach in August there wasn’t anything new from McLaren’s snappers, and at the Paris Motor show all eyes were on the McLaren P1, so nothing more for the 12C Spider from there either.
Volkswagen brings entire Polo lineup to Geneva
Tue, 25 Feb 2014Volkswagen revealed the new Polo lineup on Wednesday ahead of the cars' official appearance at the Geneva motor show. The Polo family now includes the Polo TSI BlueMotion, TDI BlueMotion, BlueGT and CrossPolo. VW will also tout its R-Line exterior and interior packages for the subcompacts.
Could the McLaren P13 get a Honda engine?
Wed, 22 May 2013The McLaren P13 is due to arrive in 2015 and we’re expecting it to get a de-tuned version of the 3.8 litre V8 already found in the 12C (pictured above) and P1, and be priced to take on the almost empty sector (in terms of price) the Porsche 911 Turbo occupies - somewhere around £125k. It’s a sensible plan to fill a potentially lucrative sector of the supercar market with a mid-engined, rear wheel drive ‘baby’ supercar with performance of around 3.8 seconds to 60mph and stunning handling. It should give the 911 Turbo a run for its money.
