Rear Lowering Kit
This item fits:
L89-99 XL
- Kits are available in chrome
- Simple bolt-on installation; comes with mounting hardware
- Designed for OEM and most aftermarket stock length shocks
- 86-11 XL models are lowered approximately 1"; wheel travel is reduced 1/2" for stock (not for Hugger and 883C or 1200C Custom Deluxe, 883L, 1200L, 1200N, XL50, 1200X)
- Made in the U.S.A.
NOTE: Rear lowering kits are not to be used in conjunction with "shorty" shocks or "low-profile" shocks.
NOTE: Fender-to-belt and tire clearance must be checked along with frame and exhaust clearance. Saddlebags may require spacing.

It'll start from £16,330 on-the-road - and the good news is, that's cheaper than the outgoing Mk6 Golf which today kicks off at £16,425. CAR's been saying for some years that the new MQB architecture underpinning the new VW Golf, and indeed the rest of the VW Group's mid-sized cars from Seats to Skodas, would be cheaper to produce.
Jean Bugatti's final project realized 73 years after his death
Fri, 10 Aug 2012Legendary designer Jean Buggati's final unfinished project has finally been realized by the Mullin Automotive Museum, 73 years after his death. The Southern Californian Museum is devoted to the preservation of French art and automobiles from the Art Deco era, and has announced that the 1939 Bugatti Type 64 Coupe Chassis #64002 project is nearing completion. The museum – alongside Stewart Reed Design of Pasadena and Automobile Metal Shaping Company of Michigan – has added the swooping coupé body to the original chassis based on sketches left unfinished by Bugatti at the time of his death in 1939.
