Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S (2007): first official pictures

Tue, 28 Aug 2007

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 28 August 2007 11:10 Super-saloon It is, but Quattroporte sounds better than ‘four-door’ - which is the literal translation - and when the whole thing is said in an Italian accent then there are few more evocative names on the market. With the MkIII Laguna launched last year, the timing would be perfect for the debut of a flagship model on the home turf of the Paris motor show in October 2008. But Patrick Pelata, Renault’s director of product planning, told CAR Online the quality of other super-saloons coupled with environmental concerns meant it wasn’t likely.
