Stage-1 is truly a performance friction. It's not only a racing clutch but can cross over to the heavy duty market with a high mileage durability. It is an economical performance solution offering greater holding capacity, durability, and less wear than other red performance friction plates. Good up to 550 HP.

Kolene is a high performance steel plate which has a surface treatment that enhances wear and fatigue resistance from 200%-500%. These plates are higher heat resistant and offer increased lubricity. Kolene is a salt bath nitriding process. It is a thermochemical diffusion process, whereby ferrous parts are processed in molten salt with a specific nitrogen potential.

Renault Alpine A110-50: Official & on video

Fri, 25 May 2012

Renault Alpine A110-50 - it's official The Renault Alpine A110-50 – based on the Mégane Trophy platform with a Renault DeZir body – is officially revealed. We had our doubts that the Renault Alpine A110-50 photo we published earlier this week was real, but it seems it was; which goes to show we should really lock up our scepticism more securely. And now, as promised, Renault has revealed their first Alpine in almost twenty years in the A110-50, a car that has the underpinnings of the Megane Trophy and a body that seems to owe most of its DNA to the electric Renault DeZir Concept.

Pininfarina family to lose control of company

Wed, 15 Feb 2012

The Pininfarina family is set to lose its controlling share stake in the company as it takes a step closer to restructuring its €76 million net debt. The Italian design firm, founded in 1930, has been plagued with debt in recent years, shutting its manufacturing branch in 2011 to concentrate purely on design, ending a joint venture with Volvo that saw the company assemble Volvo's C70. The move is seen as a positive one for the company in the long-term, making it more financially secure for future developments, but it also means that the Pininfarina family will lose control of the company by selling its 77 percent share.

Watch the Weather Channel Tornado Hunt SUV find its target

Sat, 01 Jun 2013

A chase crew from the Weather Channel drove its GM SUVs directly into the path of an oncoming violent tornado Friday, resulting in this dramatic video from inside what appears to be a Chevrolet Suburban being tossed across the Oklahoma plains like a child's toy. Meteorologist Mike Bettes and his colleagues escaped relatively unharmed thanks at least in part to seatbelts and airbags, but the team will need to visit their local Chevy dealer for some minor repairs prior to heading out on another chase.
