Toyota ME.WE concept

Toyota and leading European industrial designer Jean-Marie Massaud have developed a new electric car concept, dubbed the ME.WE. Developed at Toyota's ED2, Massaud and Toyota wanted the ME.WE – named after personal wellbeing and that of others – to be adaptable to suit a range of lifestyles while being high quality. It also had to "propose an alternative synthesis based on personal choices about vehicle architecture, lower running costs and the way the vehicle will be used".

Mitsubishi to preview next generation SUVs in Tokyo

Mitsubishi will showcase three new concept cars at next month’s Tokyo Motor Show, all of which are said to preview the next generation of Mitsubishi SUVs. They’re called the Mitsubishi Concept GC-PHEV, the Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV and the Mitsubishi Concept AR. Mercedes SLS AMG – production begins

The Mercedes SLS AMG has gone in to production in Germany I don’t know why – as Mercedes hadn’t previously announced it – but we guessed that they’d already started to put the Mercedes SLS AMG in to production ready for the first customer cars to start hitting in the Spring. But apparently they’ve only just started. The SLS AMG is due to arrive in Germany at the end of March at a base price of €177,310 and is being produced at the Mercedes factory in Sindelfengen, Germany.
