Audi Stop-Start Introduced

Audi is to introduce Stop Start on a number of its cars from 3rd quarter 2009 Of all the major car makers, Audi has probably coped with the changing car landscape better than the rest. From posting record car sales for 2008, despite the gloom and doom that has permeated the whole car industry, to launching more new models than you can count, the push is onward and upward. And the world has fallen in love with its cars, from modest little hatchbacks to Supercars.

Vauxhall Cascada Convertible: Aimed at hairdressers?

Vauxhall are teasing a new convertible – the Vauxhall Cascada – that appears to be Astra based but stretched and pushed upmarket. We knew Vauxhall (and Opel, for that matter), were planning a replacement for the Astra Twin Top which we guessed would be the new Astrra Cabrio. But it’s not, it’s the Vauxhall Cascada.

Chrysler ecoVoyager Concept

The third eco-friendly concept Chrysler will be unveiling at the Detroit Auto Show in January will be this ecoVoyager show car, a four-door, four-passenger vehicle. Like the Ford Airstream concept unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show last year, this concept explores the potential of maximizing interior space through employing an electric powertrain mated to an environmentally-friendly hydrogen fuel-cell. Overall the exterior design of the ecoVoyager appears fairly conventional.
