Date Code L,D for Dec 64 Selling "AS IS". Currently sits on an early production 1965 that spent most of its years in CA and FL. Selling as the car will be restored as a restomod. So any interest in a full rolling chassis for the fall, please call me. The Top is complete with all trim, hardware, and weather-stripping. In other words, it can be mounted and secured the day it arrives. Really in very good condition, window is clear, no dents or cracks, older paint, headliner is in great shape, under trim has some rust. Called the Quartz, it follows themes established by the Onyx, shown in Paris two years ago, and the Exalt, which debuted in Beijing earlier this year. At 4,500mm long and 2,060mm wide, the Quartz is the smallest of the three, and, more obviously, switches coupé for crossover aesthetics.
T-Mobile offers service to block cell calls, text messages while driving
Thu, 20 Jan 2011The next step in the effort to keep people from using cell phones for calls and text messages while driving has arrived--a service that senses when the phone is moving at carlike speeds and automatically handles calls and messages. T-Mobile is providing the service, called DriveSmart, for its customers who use the LG Optimus T, a mobile phone that runs the Android operating system. T-Mobile says it will make the service available on other handsets soon.
