I have a "6 Qt", long sump, trap door oil pan intended for the "Special high performance" small block 63-65 solid lifter, fuel injected and no P/S LT1. It is the "thick" front seal version; 2 3/8" from the pan lip to top of seal area. No problem with available pan gaskets. Nice paint, only a few tiny nicks, ready to bolt up and includes bolts. This is a very nice pan with No repairs, No welding , No damage, only minor dents as seen, Good drain plug and threads. This is a GM 359942 oil pan. Will ship FedEx or priority mail.

The Tata Nano Europa - expected to come to Europe as a sub £5k car [ad#ad-1] Tata has had a pretty torrid time of late, what with problems in India and the decimation of the world car markets, which has badly affected sales of its recently acquired Land Rover and Jaguar marques. But as we reported last week, they have just landed a huge contract to supply Jaguars and Land Rovers to the Chinese, which will ease problems at JLR, and now they’re on a world-domination cheapest-car quest with the Nano Europa. The Nano Europa is the version of the little Tata that is going to be launched in Europe, and has just previewed at Geneva 2009.

Mercedes AMG engine guru to join VW

The man credited with development of Mercedes-Benz AMG's latest line of high performance gasoline engines, Friedrich Eichler, has been lured to the Volkswagen Group, where he will take up an as yet unspecified position this summer, sources with knowledge of the move tell Autoweek. Eichler, who joined AMG after working his way up through the ranks at Porsche, was instrumental in the development of AMG's naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8, twin-turbocharged and naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 and twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 that powers the Pagani Huayra. Friedrich Eichler also developed turbocharged four-cylinder engines for upcoming Mercedes AMG cars.
