Condition:Used

These are a pair of glass T tops to fit a C3 Corvette. They come with all of the hardware, one has the latches still attached and as you can see in the pictures, the others are in with the rest of the hardware. All glass in is great shape, no real scratches. The fiberglass surround will need sanded and painted, but is also in really good condition. They Will need new weather seals as these are original, but I never used them in rain or winter. You usually see the mirrored tops from the later C3's, but these are very rare. Call or text with questions. These fit on my 73.

Mercedes Viano Vision Diamond – the Maybach of vans

Wed, 25 Apr 2012

Mercedes Viano Vision Diamond Mercedes-Benz has revealed the Viano Vision Diamond at Beijing, a utilitarian Mercedes van with the interior of a Maybach. The Maybach brand didn’t do Mercedes any favours, with German glitterballs proving no match for British (oh, alright, German-ish) understated elegance in the Rolls Royce Phantom. Maybach has now been re-consigned to the dustbin of history and likely only ever to be seen as a badge to denote the glitziest model in the next S Class range.

German Parts Pillagers Roam the American Southwest, Sending Treasures Home For Future Car Museum

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

Quite a few older European cars are purchased in rust-free parts of the United States and then shipped back to the home continent, and this process tends to intensify when the Euro gets stronger versus the dollar. While that's going on, crews of European gearheads also roam the wrecking yards of the Southwest, filling shipping containers with parts to ship back home; I know of a trio of Swedes who come to Colorado every year and ship home tons of parts, but they've got nothing on this pair of Germans. These gentlemen fly to the United States four times each year, spending two or three weeks each trip, and send home cars and shipping containers packed with parts, all as part of a scheme to open up a car collection showcasing "cars from the road." They were kind enough to send me a bunch of photos of their most recent trip, so let's see what their enviable lifestyle looks like.
