Video: Honda Super Ultra Daydreams has us smiling with joy

Honda's press conference at last week's press conference was full of the usual marketing messages about sales figures, new models and company strategies but the thing that caught our magpie-like eyes was this joyful little video. The cheeky vector graphics feature 19 of the company's concept cars from the last 20 years, starting with the 1994 FSR right up to the NSX via such wonderful oddities as the Kiwami and P-Nut, all accompanied by a bouncy score.  It reminded us all why this is a brand that has always stood out as individual and creative even if the last few years have been a little sparse.

Chevrolet Cruze (2009): first pictures

Due to officially bow in at the Paris motor show next month, the Cruze signposts Chevrolet’s distinctive new design style, and its pronounced split grille is expected to be a key visual feature on new Beat, Volt and Camaro models. A new generation Jaguar XJR is being launched at the New York Auto Show later this month, signalling the return of the range-topping XJ with 542bhp. We’ve been heralding the arrival of an all new Jaguar XJR for four years and now, finally  Jaguar is about to deliver with a new XJR sporting Jaguar’s 542bhp version of the supercharged V8 under the bonnet. Jaguar are being a bit precious with the full details of the new XJR, but they’re calling the new XJR the ‘Dynamic Flagship‘ of the Jaguar range – which is promising when you consider how fluid and able the XJ already is.
