These door sills are made from real carbon fiber with a gloss finish. I make these myself using 100 pct american materials. The carbon cloth, the uv stable epoxy, and the 3m adhesive are all us made. To mount these you will need to peel up your factory plastic sill covers and then thoroughly remove any adhesive residue with rubbing alcohol. Then you just stick these in place with the supplied 3m adhesive. You will get a pair of carbon 1 left and 1 right with the adhesive already mounted. Free priority mail anywhere in the u.s. Sun, 13 Nov 2011The SEAT Altea EV & plug-in SEAT Leon hybrid - testing for the next 4 years Seat may have revealed a pair of cars with ‘eco’ powerplants - the Leon TwinDrive Ecomotive and the Altea XL Electric Ecomotive – but they’re not coming to a showroom near you. Well, not before 2015, anyway. The plan is to build a small prototype fleet of the Leon Hybrid and Altea EV and make them available to local government in Catalonia and Madrid, to get evaluation and real-world feedback before the cars go in to production, which won’t be for at least four years.
Honda expands recall on airbag inflator
Tue, 03 May 2011Honda has expanded a previously announced recall for airbag problems of certain 2001 through 2003 model year Honda and Acura vehicles. The recall now includes vehicles that may have had the original driver's airbag module replaced with a service part. The replacement airbag inflators could deploy with too much pressure, causing the airbag to rip, resulting in injury or death, according to Honda.
