New Mild 2 Wild (M2W) Exhaust / Muffler Controller

Mild 2 Wild Exhaust Controller specifically for 2006-2013 Z06, 2009-2013 ZR1 and 2008-2013 C6, Grand Sport and 60th Anniversary Corvette with GM's optional NPP bi-mode performance exhaust.

Mild to Wild is FCC and Jay Leno approved!

One of the coolest technologies on Corvette's with the "bi-mode" exhaust- whisper quiet up until 3500 rpm and wide open race car sound as the valves/flaps located in the exhaust tips open.  The problem is the inability to control this feature at will.  Until now, your only choice was to pull the fuse or to install wiring and drill a hole for a switch to turn the quiet mode off (similar devices sell for $85).  The last thing you want to do is start running wires and drilling holes.

The revolutionary Mild 2 Wild controller lets you control the bi-mode exhaust system on demand via a miniature wireless remote or the Homelink feature in your car.  This patent pending product requires no drilling or running wires through your car and it's a simple 5 minute plug and play installation that anyone can do.  Once installed, you will have full control over the exhaust mode.  The "OFF" mode opens the valves/flaps and gives you that race car sound 100% of the time.  The "ON" mode resumes factory exhaust operation, and closes the exhaust valves/flaps to the oem factory preset of 3500 rpm.

Included in the kit: plug and play wireless receiver, two miniature remotes (batteries included) and detailed installation instructions.

Bristol Cars goes Bust

Fri, 04 Mar 2011

Bristol Fighter - Bristol Cars are in Administration I know, you didn’t even know they still existed. They do, but for how much longer is anyone’s guess as Bristol Cars calls in the administrators. Which is a real shame; a proper, eccentric British car maker finding it impossible to make enough sales to pay the bills, when there seem to be enough batty billionaires to buy the worst atrocities the world’s pimpers can muster (much the same problem afflicted Overfinch).

Alfa MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde gets a tweak and a tickle

Fri, 01 Jul 2011

2011 Alfa MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde - cosmetic tweaks & new toys The Alfa MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde already sits at the top of the very appealing MiTo range, but that hasn’t stopped Alfa spreading more Alfa goodness across its bows for the new 2011 model year cars. Don’t get too excited that the tickles include power upgrades – they don’t. But when the MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde already boasts one of the best Alfa engines for a long time – the 1.4-litre TB Multiair – that’s not too much of a disappointment.

80hp Caterham Seven 160 details revealed

Sun, 03 Nov 2013

Caterham has launched its new Seven 160 – an 80hp entry-level variant of its back-to-basics sports car available that’s available now from £14,995. That’s in kit form: if you’re not keen to build it yourself you’ll have to stretch to £17,995, which still offers a decent fun/money ratio thanks to its kerb weight of less than 500kg: that equates to 160hp-per-tonne. Caterham Seven 165 prototype stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show Suzuki power for new entry-level Caterham Power comes from a turbocharged 660cc three-cylinder Suzuki engine which propels the car to 60 in 6.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 100mph.
