New Toyota Auris starts rolling out at Burnaston
Mon, 05 Nov 2012The new 2013 Toyota Auris – Toyota’s modern Corolla – has commenced production at the Toyota plant in Burnaston. Toyota revealed the new Auris back in August – ahead of a public debut at the Paris Motor Show – which, although pretty much the previous Auris when you dig deep, does offer a more dynamic look and the promise of better driving dynamics too. With the new Auris a big deal for Toyota in Europe, Toyota are trumpeting the start of Auris production in Burnaston and have rolled out Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, to mark the occasion.
Focus RS plus – the Loder1899
Wed, 28 Oct 2009The Focus RS by Loder1899 We finally got round to doing a review of the Focus RS last week and came away deeply impressed. We did note that it seemed as if the system was good enough to take even more horses than the RS produces, which you can now find out for yourself if you opt for the tuned Focus RS revealed by German tuner Loder1899 (catchy little name).
Aston Martin Virage dropped – to be replaced by new DB9

The Aston Martin Virage always seemed a bit of a stretch too far for Aston Martin, and so it has proved. After a lifespan of no more than eighteen months – and with just over 1000 cars built – Aston Martin has decided that there are just too few buyers who feel the Virage is enough of a step up from the DB9 to warrant the extra cost.
