Available for this auction is a Cable-X to fit vehicles that have the Ford snap-on connector on the speedometer cable end.
(Fits '70s - '80s US made vehicles).

This unit converts the pulses from an electronic vehicle speed signal (VSS) into cable drive.  Basically allows you to use original cable driven speedometers with late model electronic transmissions.  The Cable-X box measures 6" x 4" x 2". and comes with a 36" speedometer drive cable.

Unit is adjustable to allow for use with different PPM (pulses per mile).  Change your tires, change your rear axle ratio, just recalibrate the Cable-X to correct your speedometer.

Information from the Cable-X website:

Instructions / calibration chart included.  This is a new Cable-X.

Lambo Super Trofeo Stradale (2011) at Frankfurt motor show

Mon, 12 Sep 2011

Lamborghini tonight whisked the covers off the new £195,000 Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale supercar on the eve of the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. It’s the roadgoing version of the Super Trofeo race cars that compete in the European Blancpain Super Trofeo championship, a one-make series for Gallardos and their racier and richest owners. Hence the Stradale name – it’s Italian for road.

Pontiac Solstice Coupe

Thu, 20 Mar 2008

By Liz Turner Motor Shows 20 March 2008 10:47 The Pontiac Solstice Coupe has a fairly simple brief in life. This is the car for anyone who likes the styling of the Roadster but doesn’t have the degree in origami needed to fold the flying buttresses and get the roof down. But the Solstice Coupe has a sunroof, so you can still get some wind in your hair.

New Porsche Panamera GTS takes to the track (video)

Sat, 19 Nov 2011

New Porsche Panamera GTS takes to the track The new Porsche Panamera GTS is the latest Panamera variant to arrive – the ninth Panamera, no less – and is, as all Porsche GTS models are, a harder-edged take on the more mainstream variants. With its naturally aspirated 4.8 litre V8 producing 425bhp, and pushing those horses through a PDK ‘box to all four wheels, the Panamera can scoot to 62mph in a very respectable 4.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 179mph. Not bad for a big saloon car that eschews forced induction and can carry proper-sized passengers in comfort.
