Cadillac Original Dealer Department Hours Sign Maker Sheet

Description

Cadillac collectors and buffs!  Here is a unique item for your garage, den or personal museum, or for your collection of memorabilia.  This is an item that was made available to Cadillac dealers for department signage.  One of the department names at the bottom - SERVICE, SALES, PARTS, USED CAR - would be peeled off and stuck on to the top section above the word "DEPARTMENT".  The hours for each day of the week would also be peeled off and applied next to the appropriate day.  When completed, the backing would be peeled off of the upper portion and the whole self-stick sign would be adhered to a door, window, or similar flat surface.

This item measures 15 inches long by 10 inches wide. 

The finished sign would measure 8-1/2 inches long by 10 inches wide.

Ford collaborates with DIY workshop for Detroit location

Detroit inventors will soon have access to the ultimate do-it-yourself workshop. Having joined forces with Ford, TechShop is scheduled to launch one of its open-access facilities in the Motor City this winter. The facility will provide artists and inventors with machinery they might not otherwise have access to, like sheetmetal equipment, CNC plasma cutters and three-dimensional printers.

Two years after the Hyundai Coupe stopped being made, and more than a year after we ran spy shots of the Veloster, Hyundai finally manage to get a production version of the Veloster on a show stand. With its funky urban looks – like a squashed coupe version of the Hyundai Curb – the Veloster, complete with asymmetrical doors, promises to be at least as much fun as its progenitor – the Hyndai Coupe – was.

Classic Mercedes, Maserati cars win top honors at Amelia Island concours

Noted car collectors Sam and Emily Mann won their fourth Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance Best in Show award with a 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster (with covered spare). This car is one of only three known to have been built. Originally shipped to the German embassy in Argentina, the Manns have owned the car for about 18 years.
