Top Gear's James May in the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport The Top Gear boys were running rumours around a few days ago that they had been in on the new world record speed for a production car set by the Veyron Super Sport. We didn’t know exactly what they’d done, but we did know none of the three amigos were at the wheel when the Super Sport averaged  267.81mph. So we thought we’d wait and see what came out in the wash before we reported it.

With a career spanning almost six decades, Colani has applied his unique design style to produce cars, trucks, boats, aircraft, ceramics and consumer goods, as well as creating futuristic concepts for as-yet unrealized transport systems and architecture. EPA rules greenhouse gases pose danger; more regulation expected

The EPA has proposed a finding that greenhouse gases from new vehicles and industrial plants pose a danger to the public, kicking off a process that could result in tighter regulation of carbon dioxide emissions. The EPA's findings come two years after the U.S. Supreme Court ordered the agency to determine whether these emissions contribute to harmful air pollution under the Clean Air Act or whether the science is too uncertain.
