Porsche And Jaguar Rise To Digital Prominence

THE LATEST automotive search data from leading independent digital marketing agency, Greenlight, reveals Porsche and Jaguar have replaced Toyota and Citroen to become two of the ten most popular car brands that UK consumers have been eyeing up online. Greenlight’s quarterly report identified the most popular search terms and phrases consumers used when they searched on Google UK for cars in November, and ascertained which car manufacturer and dealer sites were most visible to their searches. According to the firm’s research, over 11 million searches were made by consumers looking for cars online, up almost 5% on the previous quarter.

American car collector Peter Read has commissioned a pair of Zagato-bodied Aston Martins that coincide with the British marque's centenary. The DBS Coupé Zagato Centennial and DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial are the hard- and soft-top siblings are the latest in a long line of collaborations between the two companies. Ford shuffles European production

Ford Motor Co. said Tuesday it is realigning its European production in a move that will add two models at the carmaker's Valencia, Spain, factory and an electric version of the Focus at the Saarlouis, Germany, plant. Ford also said the B-Max small wagon will be built in its Craiova, Romania, factory and the plant will add a second, as-yet-unnamed small-segment model.
