McLaren P1: The Bahrain Photo Shoot
Thu, 14 Feb 2013On a tour of the Middle East – and ahead of a debut at the Geneva Motor Show – the McLaren P1 has been photographed at the Bahrain International Circuit. That drip of information has included everything from the development version of the P1 on video, the first view of the instruments on the P1 and, most recently, the first interior photos of the P1. Now, whilst McLaren are busy touring the P1 round the Middle East, they’ve taken the opportunity to get a new set of stunning photos of the McLaren P1 at the Bahrain International Circuit showing the P1 in a set of beautifully lit and shot photos.
Audi A1 – the design tease
Mon, 18 Jan 2010Audi are teasing the design of the new A1 in this latest video (below) If you’ve been living in a cave for the last few months you may have missed the news that Audi is about to launch what it hopes will be a MINI-bashing offering – the Audi A1. The A1 is actually destined for a public launch at the Geneva Motor Show in March – and Audi has threatened full disclosure for next month – but in the meantime it’s on a ‘Teaser’ blitz. We haven’t reported on every tease (we didn’t bother with the ‘Look – the new A1 has headlights’ one last week), but we have covered some, like the graffiti advert.
General Motors is looking at ways to double or triple Volt production
Wed, 01 Dec 2010General Motors Co. CEO Dan Akerson says the carmaker is studying how it could double or triple production of the new Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid should sales demand accelerate. About 240,000 potential buyers have expressed an interest in the vehicle, but production in 2011 will be just 10,000 units.
