The perfect way to hold your leather or vinyl onto your home made or custom cafe racer seat.

Easy to use and install....
These strips install on the underside lip of the seat using either a basic rivet gun, pan head screws, or even tack weld.  Your leather or vinyl is then stretched over your seat and the spikes are pushed through the leather or vinyl.  The spikes are then hammered or pushed down.  This is similar to the concept used by Honda on their 70's seats.

No need for snaps or glue.

Each strip is approximately 13.5" long and 1/2" wide. (67.5" total length)

You get a total of five strips.

Made from thin steel.

Paypal only.

Note:  Our tack strips no longer come with the transparent vinyl cover as seen in the listing picture.

Please check out our other listing.  We sell gauge overlays, gauge plates, CAFE RACER SEAT PADDING, MARINE GRADE SEAT VINYL, and gauge LED bulbs.

Mon, 13 May 2013

We spend a lot of time on the Internet -- pretty much whenever we're not driving, writing about or working on cars. Since there's more out there than we'd ever be able to cover, here's our daily digest of car stuff on the Web you may not otherwise have heard about. -- Petrolicious asks a tough question we don't mind answering: Would you rather have a 1956 Facel Vega FV2B or a 1962 Maserati 3500 GT by Touring?

Noble Fenix Supercar – First Photo

Wed, 06 Jan 2010

The first picture of Lee Noble's Fenix Supercar Back in November we brought you news of eponymous supercar maker Lee Noble’s return to the world of high performance cars with his new company – Fenix Automotive. Lee had left the company that bears his name, but was obviously itching to get back to the fray with a car that reflects the great Noble’s of the past – including the very successful M12. The old Noble company has headed upmarket with its latest offering – the Noble M600 – but Lee intends the new supercar from Fenix to be a more affordable proposition – around £70k.

Infiniti is sticking with 2011-model-year prices for the 2012 QX luxury SUV, hoping to maintain a positive sales response since last year's redesign. Meanwhile, the 2012 Infiniti EX crossover models will have higher stickers across the board, with sporty rear-wheel-drive models starting at about $1,000 more for 2012. The base rear-wheel-drive, V8-powered Infiniti QX56 with seven-speed automatic transmission starts at $59,690, including destination.
