BMW Bar End Mirrors for 7/8" handlebars

| These are perfect for you guys restoring a vintage BMW, or wanting to cafe your bike. These bar-end mirrors were an OEM BMW part back in the distant past. They're such a cool design, that it makes you wonder why they ever went away.
They will fit any 7/8" diameter handlebar, so you can customize any UJM (Universal Japanese Motorcycle) of the 60s and 70s. They each insert into one end of your 7/8" handlebar. (7/8" is the standard for almost all handlebars EXCEPT Harley-Davidson (1") and we think the new Triumphs may be 1" diameter as well.)
They arrive to you two per box.
There is only one wire lead from each light to connect to.
Check that your handlebars have a hole somewhere near the gooseneck (around the steering head/forks) so that you can connect them...that wire is INSIDE the handlebars so you gotta have ingress and egress, (input and output for my more technical readers). If your handlebars don't have that hole, buy some that do, or get busy with the power tools.
Two Classics Lined up Sporting the Sweet Stuff
These cafe racers are bizatchin' you have to look closely, but...they ARE there...squint.. We know your project doesn't look like that, and we excuse your public weeping.
Custom BMW Cafe Racers & a 1969 R60 with Bar-End Signals
Here is a stock BMW with our Knoscher replica, stock bars and the turn-signals...easy upgrades.
Listing Includes:
- One small box containing two turn signals (left and the opposite of left)
- Turn signals have bulbs installed (or tragically, they would not light.)
- Turn signals have only one wire lead emanating from the end that inserts into the handlebars.(While this may make them look like they can reproduce, alas they cannot.)
- The amber lens is 1.5 inches in diameter and the total length extending from the end of your handlebar is 2 inches.
- REMEMBER:LOOK AT YOUR HANDLEBARS AND FIGURE OUT HOW THAT WIRE WILL EXIT.
- This auction does not include wiring tech support...we are morons and prohibited from playing with hot wires...

First UK public Hydrogen Filling Station Opens
Every car maker – well, every car maker with an eye to the future – is developing hydrogen fuel cell cars. Really, short of portable cold fusion becoming a reality, hydrogen is the only viable future for cars. So the opening of the UK’s first public hydrogen filling station today at Honda’s South Marston plant is a big deal.

The new VW BlueMotion versions of the Polo, Golf & Passat will be at Frankfurt this month
The most efficient of the BlueMotion models is – hardly surprising – the new Polo Bluemotion. The Polo emits just 87g/km CO2 and manages to travel at least 870 miles on a tank of juice., averaging as it does 85.6 mpg. The new 1.2 litre three pot common rail diesel in the Polo produces 74bhp which is driven through a fibe speed manual ‘box and features stop-start and longer gearing.
