I mill aluminum [6061-T6][Default] plastic injection molds for small batch runs (1,000 units). [Have heard of people doing 10,000+ shots]
I can also mill 7075-T6 plastic injection molds for larger batch runs (10,000 units). [Have heard of people doing 600,000+ shots]
Cost for more expensive aluminum will be added in separately.

As well as other prototype parts.
I am an engineer who does side work when I have extra time.
Min order $100, I charge per cubic square inch, rounded up, $2 per cubic square inch.

So a 10"x 10"x 2" mold would cost = $400

Simple Prototype Parts without fine details $1 per cubic square inch. (are there pockets smaller than 3mm?)
Plastic Injection Mold without fine details $2 per cubic square inch.  (are there pockets smaller than 1mm?)
High complex detail Plastic Injection Molds  $3 per cubic square inch. (Conical/BallNose Less than 1mm Pockets & Complex 3D Finishes)

I can do CAD 3D modeling on Solidworks & I charge 17$/hr.

Precision guarantee within 0.2mm, each milled item will be measured on video & uploaded to buyer for verification.

Jaguar-Land Rover has a new engineering boss and product delivery enforcer, as it gears up for an unprecedented new model push. Announced today and effective from 1 August 2013, Dr Wolfgang Ziebart becomes group engineering director, replacing Bob Joyce who moves into the new role of product creation and delivery director. Ziebart worked in R&D at BMW for 23 years, before moving onto key suppliers Continental and semi-conductor maker Infineon.
