Ford Explorer (2011) launches +video
Tue, 27 Jul 2010The 2011 Ford Explorer Because it’s unlikely we will get the 2011 Ford Explorer on this side of the Pond, we haven’t covered its interminable tease in any real detail. Yes, we reported on the 2011 Explorer getting Ford’s new Curve Control, an electronanny designed to cure understeer, but we didn’t report every silly photo Ford released. Porsche Macan will sell 75,000 a year
Tue, 11 Sep 2012The Porsche Macan – Porsche’s more compact SUV, based on the Audi Q5 – looks set to sell at a rate of 75,000 cars a year. The new Porsche Macan - the Porsche Cajun as was - already looked set to take Porsche sales to another level with projected sales of 45,000 a year from 2013, but it looks like that ambitious target is going to be exceeded. German weekly WirtschaftsWoche is reporting that Porsche’s procurement boss, Uwe-Karsten Staedter, has put Porsche suppliers on notice that they are expecting to sell 75,000 Macans a year by the end of 2013 – an increase of 2/3rds on the original sales predictions.
2012 Porsche Boxster, 911 Turbo, 911 Targa, 911 Cabrio & new Cayman caught on video
Sun, 09 Oct 2011Porsche's next generation cars caught on video There are umpteen people round the world who make a living from camping out in inhospitable terrain in the hope of snapping a new car before the car maker wants the world to know. And they make a decent living from flogging those snaps to car media round the world. So those poor guys must be spitting feathers when they see what one sleepy resident of San Franciscan found lining up on his street when he was awoken by the sound of a Porsche 911 or three outside his bedroom window.
