2012 Lotus Exige S Duel Video We’ve run a story or two on the 2012 Lotus Exige S – the one with the V6 from the Evora – in the run up to its reveal at Frankfurt. But now we get video too. An advert of any sort – even a promo video – is quite unusual for Lotus, but this is the second time this year we’ve seen a Lotus shedding rubber to entice buyers to see the products from Hethel as a viable option.

CCS/GM E-Flex project

Cadillac V-Flex Evan Mai Evan Mai presented the Cadillac V-Flex, a mid-engine electric race car that uses GM's E-Flex platform in a new configuration and advances Cadillac's art & science design language.  The race inspired proportion and layout of the V-Flex draws heavily from Le Mans prototype and F1 cars. Power would come from an electric motor with a range extending internal combustion engine. The Li-ion battery placed in the bottom center of the vehicle could be swapped from underneath the car during pit stops. Aluminum heat sinks in the rear efficiently dissipate heat away from the motor and battery while performing as a rear spoiler.  The front grille serves to communicate the Cadillac design philosophy and also serves as a functional aerodynamic enhancement.

2015 Nissan 370Z Nismo facelift revealed It’s only a year or so since the new Nissan 370Z Nismo arrived in the UK, but Nissan is already rolling out a new and improved version. The cosmetic tweaks are the usual fodder of a new front bumper – which takes its cues from the GT-R – new LED running lights, red highlights for the vents, new side sills and door mirrors and a smaller spoiler than before. On the inside, the changes amount to red and black leather, Alcantara and a new set of Recaros.
