Police in Derbyshire have even reported a crime spree, with 12 Land Rover vehicles stolen in their region between November 2013 and January 2014. All police forces across the UK are urging owners of this type of vehicle to be extra vigilant and secure their vehicles.
Washington auto show: Ford develops ‘intelligent cars'
Thu, 27 Jan 2011There are plenty of smartphones, and now Ford is pitching the idea of “intelligent cars” that can communicate with each other to avoid accidents. Ford is investing heavily into the technology and will launch a fleet of prototypes this spring, the company said on Thursday at the Washington auto show. The idea is to use wireless signals on a secured channel to allow cars to communicate with each other.

And when it turned up it looked just like the Porsche Cayenne Turbo on which it’s based, albeit with some Gemballa-esque mods.
