This auction is for a 82-92 Camaro/Firebird Spohn Tubular Sub Frame Connectors SP-503 T-Top or Hard Top BLACK in color. Picture is of a red ones but you will recieve a BLACK ones!

Put an end to squeaky dashboards, cracking body panels on t-top cars, and seriously enhance your chassis' handling and launch performance. When it comes to locking together the chassis on a third generation F-Body, nobody does it better than Spohn Performance! We don't consider our kit to be just a point to point sub-frame connection, we provide the components necessary to install a full frame to the underside of your uni-body vehicle.

Our "truss-style" framing system is constructed of 1.75" x .120" wall DOM tubing for serious, uncompromised rigidity. The frame rail connects to the front rear lower control arm mounting area and runs the entire length of the rocker panel, it ends at the rear side of the front wheel well. The main shaft is formed to fit the contour of the floor board, providing for weld contact area the entire length of the frame shaft, and no ground clearance loss.

We don't stop there. Mid-shaft we install a "Y" off frame that connects the main frame shaft to the beefy front sub-frame at the transmission crossmember mounting area. This provides for the ultimate in chassis stiffening by utilizing a triangulated framing design. The frame rails also provide for an excellent jacking point.

This is a weld in system that ships to you either bare, or with a brilliant and durable powder coated finish. If you've been looking for the ultimate sub-frame connection system for your third generation F-Body, you just found it!

These SFCs are designed to be used on a single-cat or dual-cat y-pipe exhaust system. The passenger's side main shaft necks down in the front to allow proper y-pipe clearance. No exhaust or floor board modifications are necessary to install our SFCs.

BMW i3 Coupe concept

Tue, 27 Nov 2012

It may be dubbed a concept but this BMW i3 Coupe is ostensibly the debut of the production version of the innovative new B-segement EV at the LA auto show. The Coupe is a new variation on the now-familiar i3 although in reality it's more three-door than true coupé. At 3,964mm, 1,768mm wide and 1,555mm high, the Coupe is lower than the five-door i3, while its front and rear screens have faster rakes.

Jaguar XFR Review: On the Road

Mon, 27 Jul 2009

The Jaguar XFR has quite astonishing - and controllable - performance You start to wonder if Jaguar has screwed up and put the normally aspirated version of the potent V8 in the XFR. This can’t be an M5 competitor – it’s just too civilised. The ride is cosseting and compliant, but with an underlying – and reassuring – firmness.

Four in 10 'can't read maps'

Wed, 13 Aug 2014

ALMOST four in 10 drivers don't know how to read a traditional map, according to new research by sat-nav manufacturer Garmin. A study of 2,000 Brits revealed that 39% admit to not knowing what they're doing with old-fashioned navigation, but the true figure could well be higher than that when taking into account those who believe they can read a map but have either never tried or never proved it. A worrying 16% say that they are 'heavily reliant' on sat-nav in their cars in order to get anywhere – even to places they regularly visit.
