The competition was relaunched in 2007 with a few new twists created to meet the needs of the global automotive industry. Toyota to recall 1.1 million Corolla, Matrix models prone to stalling

Toyota Motor Corp. today issued a recall of 1.1 million Corolla and Corolla Matrix vehicles from the 2005-08 model years after more than 1,000 complaints of stalling. In a statement, Toyota said it was addressing some engine control modules that may have been improperly made.
