Camco's freeze check Refractometer is an economical, highly accurate instrument for testing the point at which antifreeze solutions begin to solidify. No charts, graphs or conversions are necessary. It eliminates guesswork, reassuring the user that the unit is protected to the desired level. It saves money by eliminating the over-use of antifreeze and verifying proper protection. It is recommended for use with winterization methods where propylene glycol based antifreezes are used.

Crash scams warning to drivers
Mon, 02 Dec 2013MOTORISTS have been urged to be on the look-out for criminals staging crashes with their vehicles to make money out of insurance claims. Experts said Bradford and Birmingham were the most likely places for innocent drivers to be caught up in "Crash for Cash" scams but Bolton, Manchester, London, Liverpool and Halifax are also hotspots, and staged accidents can happen anywhere and any time. The Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) and Crimestoppers appealed for information on those making bogus claims, in a crime that collectively costs policyholders more than £390 million every year.
Daftest hard shoulder stops revealed
Tue, 22 Jul 2014DRIVERS have illegally stopped on motorway hard shoulders for all sorts of barely believable reasons, according to a list from the Highways Agency Some of the dumb and dumber reasons include picking flowers, renewing insurance policies and even trying to sell their car. One motorist pulled over after seeing "Fire" on his dashboard display, but fortunately for his car it turned out to be the name of an Adele track he was listening to. On another occasion, traffic officers found two cars on the hard shoulder, with the owners halfway through the selling and buying process for one of the cars.
