MG6 BTCC Edition celebrates MG going racing

MG has revealed a special edition of the MG6 – the MG6 BTCC Edition – to celebrate a return to BTCC racing. MG doesn’t exactly have a plethora of models to offer car buyers, but its’ making the most of its inherited heritage by taking the MG6 in to the British Touring Car Championship, and to celebrate it’s launched a new model to cast a sporty glow back on the marque. The MG6 BTCc Edition gets a 1.8 litre turbo petrol offering 158bhp, not enough to win a BTCC race but enough to get the road car to 62mph in 8.4 seconds and on to a slightly asthmatic 120mph.

BMW X6M and BMW X5M Revealed

The BMW X6M & X5M revealed ahead of the New York Car Show [ad#ad-1] Well, this was supposed to be a big reveal for the New York Motor show, which kicks off to the paying public on the 10th, and journos a few days before. But fuzzy scans of the new BMW X6M and BMW X5M turned up on the web a couple of days ago, so it looks like BMW has decided to get the info out as soon as possible. Ferrari 575GT Zagato

Zagato recently unveiled their bespoke Ferrari 575GTZ at Villa d'Este Concours d'Elegance in Italy. Zagato, based in nearby Milan, was commissioned by Japanese collector Yoshiyuki Hayashi to create a new body for his 575M in the style of the 250GTZ Berlinetta. Despite the same underpinnings as the 575M the whole car has been remodelled, striking a balance between its Fifties forebear and more contemporary Ferraris.
