The key changes include a redesigned center stack, the availability of high-intensity discharge headlamps and the addition of a new range-topping Limited trim. That's AMBR, as in, America's Most Beautiful Roadster, the most sought-after title in all of hot-rodding and the crowning glory of the Grand National Roadster Show. There is that competition at the Detroit Autorama that hands out the Ridler Award, but that is open to all manner of kustom kars.

RM auction in Monaco rakes in $45.1 million

Call it the Feast of Ferrari. Led by a stunning lineup of rare and classic automobiles wearing the Prancing Horse, sales at the RM auction in Monaco on May 1 totaled more than $45.1 million. The highest seller at the event was a 1962 Ferrari 400 Superamerica Cabriolet Pininfarina AWB, which sold for $3.8 million, a record for Superamericas, RM said.
