Unit mounts under the dash and does not decrease leg room. This Power Steering Kit also carries a 3 year warranty. It is an all-electric system that uses electronic sensors and an on board computer to drive an electric worm gear motor which is directly connected to the steering system of the ATV \ UTV. The system uses a torque sensor to sense the amount of steering done by the rider and transmits this signal to the on board computer which then relays the amount of turning pressure to apply to the steering system. The inline electric motor not only decreases rider fatigue but also assists in reducing jarring “kick-Backs” from the steering on rutted roads as well as climbing rocky terrain. All of the system components are sealed to give water and dirt protection in even the roughest riding conditions. The on board computer has a led light indicator for system diagnosing in case of component failure. The system is a low maintenance system with only some minor lubrication of the steering shafts required. The electric motor has an overheating protection built in – it automatically reduces current when reaching damaging temperatures. .You wont find a more affordable item that will make your Can-Am Maverick stand out from the rest. Cash for clunkers plan revives trade fight
Thu, 05 Feb 2009Import brand automakers and dealers warned on Thursday that a vehicle scrappage proposal before the Senate would violate trade agreements and could weaken the economy. The Senate could vote on the plan on Thursday, which would offer $10,000 to any moderate- or low-income consumer who trades in a car or truck that is at least 10 years old and buys a new one that is more fuel-efficient and "assembled in the United States." The trade-ins would be scrapped rather than resold. The U.S.-made mandate "smacks of the protectionism that led to the Great Depression," said Barbara Nocera, the top Washington lobbyist for Mazda North American Operations.
