Up for sale is for a new old stock factory original transmission shifter knob used on All the M38, & M38A1'S /MB/M170 Military Jeeps and nearly all CJ'S, type: is push on. This is A Original Mil. Spec. Issued Replacement Part has the distinctive early manufacturing push mold process, aftermarket ones simply do not have this. Just simply  a neat old Original find, I just got a few of these in the other day...Surely can be adapted to other type vehicle applications as well!
