What's the best way of measuring my old cable?

When measuring your old cable, measure the inner cable from nipple to nipple accounting for any bends in the fittings. Measure your outer cable cover from the very tip of the cover at the carburettor end to the point where the casing is no longer visible as it joins the fittings at the throttle end. The outer sheath length refers to the overall length of the cover, excluding necks and the cable. This is measured from end to end, including the collars. If a collar is enclosed within neck section, then the dimension is stated from sheath end to the beginning of the neck.

What is a working day?

Working days for delivery companies are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

Can I use a PO Box address?

If choosing 'STANDARD' shipping, then PO boxes are acceptable. If choosing 'EXPRESS' shipping (or if this is the only option), then PO boxes cannot be accepted as UPS and DPD can only deliver to full addresses.

When will my item be despatched?

We do our absolute best to despatch all items within one working day (Mon-Fri, excluding bank holidays). Due to the time difference between the United States and the UK, this usually means that we will receive and despatch your order on the working day following purchase and cleared payment.

Some items may require a pre-delivery inspection or build service which can delay despatch until the next working day.

Who will deliver my item, and how long will it take?

We use Royal Mail AirSure, UPS and DPD to ship our items to the United States, Canada and South America. Royal Mail is priced as 'Standard' and UPS or DPD is priced as 'Express', available as an upgrade where applicable.

Tracking will be provided, although the Royal Mail tracking is less detailed than UPS/DPD tracking.

Delivery times: (subject to customs or other delays, which can sometimes add up to 2 weeks in rare instances)

  • Royal Mail AirSure (Standard): 3-15 working days (basic tracking)
  • UPS/DPD (Express): 1-3 working days (precise tracking)

Shipping is not listed to my destination, can I get a quote?

Yes! Some items are difficult to price for worldwide shipping due to various reasons. Please contact us with your full address and details of which items you are interested in.

Who pays customs duty and charges?

As the customer, you are responsible for any customs duty or charges incurred in your home country. However, because most of our items are low value, they are almost always exempt of any customs duty to most customers. We ship many items each day to the United States, Canada and South America and we are in good standing with customs as a trustworthy supplier. We almost never hear of any customs difficulties whatsoever. If you are unsure as to whether an item will incur any duty, please contact the customs authorities in your own country.

What is the basic returns policy?

We allow returns of unused, undamaged items for refund or exchange up to 30 days from when you receive the item. Exchange or store credit may be offered after this time.

Buyers in the United States, Canada or South America may find that it is not cost effective to return unwanted items. This is because the shipping back to the UK may be more expensive than the value of the refund, particularly for low value items. It is usually far easier to resell the item in your home country, and many buyers realise a profit by doing this!

What is the returns process?

  1. Open an ebay returns case.
  2. Package your item for safe travel. Include a note with your name, ebay user ID and postcode.
  3. Return the item to us (address above). We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot refund lost items.
  4. Allow 5 working days for us to receive and process the item (longer for international buyers).
  5. Call us on 02476 455893 (international buyers please send us an ebay message).
  6. We will arrange an exchange or refund as required.

Who pays for return postage?

The customer covers the cost of return postage. We will only be able to refund this where we have made a picking error, or otherwise made a mistake that has led to the return. If you believe this to be the case, you need to contact us before returning the items as we may need to send one of our couriers in to pick the item up.

For items that are simply no longer required, unwanted, or that do not fit your bike, we cannot refund the return postage due to the extremely low prices that we offer across our range. There is simply so little margin that it is not possible for us to cover this cost.

We accept payment online by PayPal. You can either pay with a paypal account, or using a credit or debit card (account not required).
