I have to say it never seems to amaze me the dumb people who go to Estate sales. There must of been 300 people at the auction I bought this at and EVERY ONE of them had to pick this up and look at it. The box was all together when I got there. By the time it was put up the flaps were off and the top was loose. Even the Ring man was just basically throwing it around like it was a $2.00 item. Well now that I'm done ranting lol. All the parts are there for the box. I didn't want to try an repair it with the wrong tape or such so I'll leave it to the people who know what they are doing. Basically the top was meant as a display where it hinged in the middle. Those 2 spots have seperated. The 2 flaps that hold the front side up have come off. The rest of the box is in pretty decent shape. I did a lot of research on these and as far as I can find out they don't exist. Yet here they are. I'm willing to bet they are the only surviving pair still in the original box never removed. The really neat thing is that they work off the Carburetor linkage. When you let of the gas the lights come on before you even hit the break telling people to slow down. Pretty neat stuff for 1950. They are made by the Northeast mfg co. They are called Automatic Slow Lites. They are solid brass with a heavy chrome surface that looks like new to me. The wiring is still wrapped up underneath as it was from factory. The yellow lenses have Slow across them. Each is 3 1/2" across. I don't think they came with mounting brackets to attach them to the bumper. No room in the box for them. The instructions and the parts that hook to the Carb linkage is there in the package. From what I see these fit cars from 1941 up to at least 1950 when they were made and probably later years. I had no idea how much to list them at and I don't think they will last long. You will not find another pair and if you want authentic on your expensive restored car they are probably the only chance you will get to own a pair. Good luck
