When a cars suspension is upgraded with lowering springs, the result is a lower ride height, a more aggressive look, and better handling due to the lowered center of gravity. While those things are great improvements for the car, the tires suffers from increased wearing and tearing since the tires will slant inwards towards the inside fender. Adjustable Light Weight Traction Control Bar
A traction control bars are used in stiffening the suspension systems of vehicles. It utilizes coil springs as part of their suspension system with a pair of traction bars being used in the place of the lower control arms. Each traction bar comprises a rigid, elongated control arm and a frame member, with the control arm pivotally connected at its normally forward end to the frame member. The latter is fixedly connected to a vehicle's axle housing while the control arm extends forwardly to the frame for pivotal connection at its forward end to a forward, lower control arm bracket. The frame is provided with vertically oriented adjusting bolts for engagement with the control. For racing usage, the adjusting bolts are locked against the control arm to prevent it from moving vertically toward the frame and, for street uses, the adjusting bolts are backed off from contact with the control arm to allow vertical movement of the arm toward the frame.
