This is a vintage New Old Stock NOS King Seely Handy Governor made for Ford Flathead V8.  I haven't the faintest idea of what it was meant for.  It is for 2 barrel carburetors.  I guess it could have been for passenger cars or trucks... perhaps military vehicles or industrial engines 1933 1934 1935 1936 1937 1938 1939 1940 1941 1942 1943 1944 1945 1946 1947 1948.  Anway, it is in excellent condition and still has a Ford script lead tag and cap on what appears to be a choke thermostatic fitting?  The side cover has V8,  GOVERNOR,  Made For Ford Motor company, By Handy Governor Company,  Detroit Michigan,  PAT. 5-18-26 PATS PEND.  It also has 1500 RPM on it.  The carb flange also has 24P 7 36 stamped in.  I assume this may be a date code.  Nice addition to whatever...military perhaps German Wermacht ?
