This head is a very rare and special 650 SS casting. It is completely rebuilt by legendary machinist/tuner Randy Long of Long's Custom Machine in Honey Brook, PA. It has not been run since the rebuild.
Randy made up custom valve guides to accommodate 7 mm. stemmed Black Diamond valves, and hand-ported the heads based on his years of flow bench experience. These thin-stemmed valves allow optimum flow through the ports by "getting out of the way" of the gasses.
The intake ports are 32mm. The intake valve is 1.65", the exhaust 1.35"
The valves were assembled with new Kibblewhite Black Diamond springs, retainers, and keepers.
All threads are perfect, all fins are perfect. There are no cracks or flaws.
