NEW heavy duty, low stall, torque converter for the Ford C6 transmission. (1.85 Crank Pilot / FE 390, 427, 428, 429, early T-Bird 460). This converter has the heavy duty brazed turbine and torrington bearings. The stall speed on this balanced and pressure tested converter will be 300-400 RPM lower then stock. The converter is designed for towing, RV's, and BETTER GAS MILEAGE. Just for a reference, a stock converter will usually have a stall speed of around 1500-1600.
