This is a 59A 24 stud per head .060 over complete engine with Champion cast iron performance heads, headers etc. I had it running, but took it apart to inspect the internals in case there might be a problem. It was built by someone I didn't know, but talked to his buddy that told me it was freshend up-translates to new bearings, valves lapped etc. Had 70 lbs or oil pressure when I started it. Once the heads came off, I had them milled flat (they were only slightly off), then called Speedway Motors and bought the best head gaskets they sold (graphite $119.00!). per their instructions I used the copper spray on the gaskets before installing. Compression is somewhere between 120 and 150 with most cylinders about 135. I have removed it from the car and took the intake off to further inspect. Looks clean as a pin and might have been painted internally with glyptol. I'm selling to generate some funds for the project and will be using a small block Ford engine. I don't believe there is anything wrong with this engine at all and took great pains to check it all out to be sure. Intake is Offenhauser tri power, has only 1 Holley carb to start and run it. Local Pickup only, I had to list a shipping price to get this to list but it I prefer only local pickup. I also have it listed locally so it may not last long. Located just outside of Lexington KY.
