This bed came off of a Dodge Dakota that had been immaculately taken care of, unfortunately said truck lost a battle with a tree on the RIGHT FRONT of the truck.

The bed itself is immaculate, it has a plastic bed liner that was undoubtedly installed via factory with its infamous DODGE logo pressed into the plastic near the cab portion of the bed. The bed beneath it is in great shape and can be seen in the pictures above. There is NO rust on the inside of the fenders or body (where these trucks are known to rust) Pictures were also taken and more can be made available.

There are four spots noted in the pictures of "damage" the bed has sustained.

1) Top bed rail LEFT SIDE

2) Top bed rail RIGHT SIDE (matching edge dent with LEFT)

3) Golf ball sized dent on the silver portion on lower RIGHT at rear of bed.

4) Chipped paint on LEFT TOP FRONT part of bed where the cab was pressed just barely against it from the accident.

That is the WORSE you will find on this bed. Otherwise the bed is as "Like New" as you will find used without spending a couple thousand for a bed you'd still need to paint.

Q: Why are we selling this bed if it's so perfect?

A: We bought the bed to replace my rusted out Dakota, but never got around to it before we sold the Dakota. We now have no use for it.

Q: Do you have other Dakota/Durango parts?

A: Yes, we have two fenders in Intense Electric Blue (L & R) and a Black fender. These are available at an additional cost.

Q: Does this bed come with taillights, bumper, or tailgate?

A: No, what you see in the pictures (minus the saw horses) is what you will be responsible for picking up. There are no taillights, bumper, or tailgate.

Q: Is this a short or long bed?

A: Short bed (Crew Cab also known as QUAD Cab)

Q: What model years will this fit?

A: This model year ran from 1997 to 2004 - it will fit them as long as it is a SHORT BED aka Four-Door Truck.

Q: Would you ship this bed?

A1: At your expense, you have to arrange pick-up from the shipper. We will not incur any planning or expensive to ship. We will make the bed ready and available for shipper on arranged date, but that's it. You can ship at your expense and your risk only.

A2: No, this is Pick Up only unless you do A1 above.
