How to wire up rear view camera
- Attach the camera's power wire (red wire) to the backup-light power wire on your car. This will give the rear-view camera power when you put the car in reverse;
- Attach the camera’s black wire to ground;
- Route the camera's output wire to your monitor or in-dash radio's video input(RCA connector); in this way, rear camera's video signal will be sent to the monitor or in-dash radio;
- Connect ‘Reverse’ or 'Back' wire on your monitor or in-dash radio to the backup-light power wire. This will inform the monitor or the radio to switch to rear view when the car is reversing.
