Stainless steel braided lines will give you a much better feel from the brakes - allowing for more accurate modulation. They will also allow you to use less force to apply the same braking force - dramatically reducing the chance of fatigue and arm pump.

Despite what a bike salesman tells you - every modern motorcycle has compromises normally instigated by accountants rather than engineers. One such compromise is the materials used for the brake hoses on your motorcycle. Rubber hoses or mild steel fittings are cheap, but we all know how rubber hose bulges under pressure, allows brake fluid to absorb water vapour from the atmosphere, and the mild steel fittings rust. We manufacture a complete replacement stainless steel brake line kit for any motorcycle which is fitted with a hydraulic brake system and we only ever use stainless steel fittings for the motorcycle marketplace. In doing so, we can offer the HEL Lifetime Warranty on all brake line kits.
They are manufactured from the highest quality stainless steel swaged fittings permanently attached to a stainless steel braided Teflon hose.
The HEL Performance Brake Line fittings offer safety, security and a slim line attractive finish. All hoses can be supplied to the FMVSS-106 standard and the kits contain all items required for a complete installation including stainless steel banjo bolts and copper washers.
We have again changed the industry for the better by informing riders of the dangers of using Aluminium brake line fittings on stainless steel hose. When an aluminium fitting is placed on a stainless steel hose and the two parts are contaminated by salt water a reaction takes place between the metals which corrodes the aluminium fitting - Don't settle for anything other than stainless steel as this is what can happen...

HEL brake lines are manufactured of the highest quality stainless steel fittings permanently swaged onto a hard drawn tensile stainless steel braided Teflon hose and wrapped with a colored pvc cover to protect your bodywork and paint. This eliminates the 'spongy' feeling often found with rubber hoses under extreme braking conditions- when you need the performance the most. The stainless steel exterior provides excellent resistance to both corrosion and abrasion. The swaged fittings give a streamlined finish and a secure connection. Unlike some other steel braided brake lines, HEL lines are DOT approved for all on and off-road applications.
HEL braided brake lines use a Teflon PTFE interior rather than a standard PTFE interior allowing HEL brake lines to be bent 18,000,000 times without rupturing compared to 750,000 times like other competing products - That's 24 times the strength! HEL braided motorcycle brake lines can also withstand 18,000 psi without failure. Other braided brake lines can only withstand up to 5,000 psi. HEL lines also come with a lifetime warranty registration card.
