If you just won an auction, or bought a Fixed Price OBO item, we certainly want to know that you intended to: PLEASE CONTACT US RIGHT AWAY. And while immediate payment, usually through PayPal, is our official policy, we try to accommodate folks as much as we can, and eBay will allow. We know it can take a couple of days to transfer money into your PayPal account for our bigger ticket items. We really do want to hear from you, email probably through eBay, that you are going to complete the purchase within a few days.
While you're at it; you might want to visit our eBay-linked store. http://www.rarebreedcycle.com There just might be something else you need there.

. We know were lagging it a bit on some of eBay's newer payment methods. Weve moved our large extended family and
. Blah blah blah
and havent been selling stuff for awhile and it seems there are several payment methods available to eBay buyers that we need to learn more about. WE WILL, AND OFFER THEM AS SOON AS WE CAN. It may take a little while longer, but well get it.
Meanwhile; thanks for your patience!
I mentioned the move? Were finally out of the city
.. way way way way out! About 300 riding days/year, and scenery splashed 2-lane roadways with almost no traffic
. I digress J
. .. POINT IT: Your stuff seems to leave the local terminal of any shipper in an unpredicable time. It might leave the day we deliver it to the shipper, .... or not. So if your stuff is late, just let us know. We'll find someone to kick-start the process ASAP, OK?
We ship it as soon as we have verified payment: within a day if you chose the expidited shipping method, or within 1 or 2 days for less expensive shipping method.
If you need a part NOW, weve got that do it fast option that pays for half the gas into the city so we can get your stuff on its way to you ourselves, but its kinda spendy. We want to leave the choices up to you: informed choices. Learn more about us and our stuff at http://www.rarebreedcycle.com and seeing our 100% positive feedback at View My Feedback Though it's been some time since we sold much, we don't expect the feedback to change, and the link should still work.
Our official policies seem pretty self explanatory and reasonable, we think. We need to hear from you as soon as you commit to buy; win an auction or buy a fixed price item.
Until we learn some of the new stuff aboutshopping carts, credit cards and such, we'd prefer immediate payment through PayPal. We understand, though, that it sometimes takes a couple of days to transfer savings into your PayPal account for some of our big-ticket items. Just stay in touch via eBay
We want all your questions. We'll get back to you ASAP, at least within a day or better. Ask lots of questions, if you have them. PLEASE. This way, you'll know what your buying or bidding on. We'll also know if we've left out something we should have explained better.
It also helps make sense of our policies: if you bought it, pay for it. Promptly. If we screwed up in any way; we WILL make it right.
If youve got any questions or concerns, though, please let us know.
Basically, we want you to know what you are buying/bidding on. Ask lots of questions if ANYTHING is unclear BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO THE PURCHASE. While your're thinking about improving your ride, maybe you'll want some of the stuff at our eBay-linked store http://www.rarebreedcycle.com
If weve screwed up, well make it right. And we expect prompt payment. Well ship it promptly, but cant make promises for our ultra-rural shippers, OK? Repetive, yet pretty simple, ya? View My Feedback
Youre likely to want to know the most about Barry: hes the 'rarest of breeds' Biker, restores Antiques Harley-Davidson beauties to stock, builds Customs. By the 'rarest of breeds'; the old kind thats been there and done that with building, customizing, chopping, iron-butting all over, machining his own parts when he cant get what he needs. Everything we ride hes built, or rebuilt, or chopped, or RESTORED TO STOCK. Hes been doing this for 48 years or so. You can check out our feedback. Its kinda old since weve been moving and rebuilding a house instead of bikes lately, but it will tell you a few things.
Renee is the one who grabs the parts Barry isn't going to use, waits a few days to be sure he doesn't change his mind, does a little spiffing and small bit of wrenching on em herself and says, Hey, sweetheart, looks like maybe this is an extra. Do you want me to make a few buck selling it? They aren't defective parts. We have just collected Harley Parts for so long our shop has a full 'warehouse' section. There have been many times a pick-up has backed up to the shop and some poor soul has offered the entire load of Harley parts (mostly OEM, some after-market) to us. Saying 'no'? It hasn't happened yet.
Renee loves to help, but is no real wrench. She does provide the little fingers for some of the knuckle-busting spaces in all Harleys as Barry builds and she prowls around looking for stuff that might make a buck or two, finds out all about it from Barry and his manuals, and then sells it. Usually here on eBay.
And, yes, it is Renee, to whom one must make payment. Weve been married a long time and know our strengths and weaknesses well. There is no way Renee would try to build a 69 Shovel (even though she wants one badly.) And the is simply no way can Barry spit out the words, you have to pay for it before you can take it. It comes pretty naturally to the "ole' lady." So we gimp through life pretty well together.
Oh yeah, weve both been riding about the same number of years. Barry has Renee beat on mileage by a lifetime, though.
Its best to contact us through eBay. That way eBay doesnt get upset, and all the messages are forwarded immediately to us directly
.. yes, smartphone apps work out here.
So contact us often! Ask a thousand questions. Any question. Any time. Tell us if you need more pictures, more precise measurements, or anything at all. We respond within 24 hours, often in just an hour or two.
When we get to shipping, if anything goes wonky, and because of our weird location, we may need to actually talk. Wow. I think eBay lets us exchange phone numbers for that if it is necessary.Just please know that part of our retirement income is dependent upon selling some of our collection of Harley-Davidson; motorcycles and parts. We'd just be "fowling our own mess-kit" if we violated eBay policies and had some listing yanked, or our feedback rating suffered.
And more stuff will keep showing up at our eBay-linked store http://www.rarebreedcycle.com
