1969 Cougar Under Steering Column Trim As Is

Description........
For sale is an interior trim piece removed from a 1969 Mercury Cougar. It covers the bottom of the steering column. The color is black or a very dark brown. Most of these trim pieces need painted to match the car interior.

Condition..........
There are 4 bolt ears on the piece from the factory. This one has 2 on the top. The 2 bottom ears are broken off. It will still mount as it is. Substitute ears can be created and glued to the broken area. Another method is to use washers. This area is hidden under the dash and not seen. The part is a little dirty but looks pretty good. Most likely needs touch up or repainted as well to better match the car interior color.

This is a perfect part to remove ears from to fix yours and save the very expensive cost of an OEM or NOS part.
