Self-priming which allows installation above bilge and sump areas with only the intake hose in the bilge. Diaphragm design allows pump to run dry for extended periods without damage and has low amp draw. Plastic body has ports for 3/4" ID hose. Meets USCG standards. NMMA type accepted. Pumpgard strainer included.
