The sizes are:
3/8BS,    rust spots - old script - no date code
1/4W,     rust spots near boxed end - old script - 1958 date
3/16W,   grinding mark over the "P" in snap on - old script - 1953 date
1/4BS,    engraving marks - new script - 1996 date
1/8W,     scuffs - old script - 1953 date
