These intake manifolds are old school heavy castings; not new cheap Chinese castings. They were cast over 20 years ago and have been stored for almost their entire life. The castings are solid and crack free. There is no warping. The mounting holes and flanges are all solid. The studs are perfectly straight and the threads are good and rust free. The yellow stuff that is visible is old gasket that needs to be removed. I removed about 95% of the four gaskets, but the rest is up to you. The manifolds were cleaned. They are free of deposits, oil, and fuel. They can be polished if you like them shiny. There is one defect: some pitting in one of the ports. This is common and can probably be rectified if you are having the ports polished or port matched to your heads for better flow. They are tall and were originally mated to a pair of 45 DRLA Dellortos, but are compatible with other spec carbs.
