This is my second set of Duratrac tires. I do about a 40/60 split for off road to highway driving and these tires out performed all of my expectations. They are amazing in the mud and sand, as well as snow and ice.
I know that if I had any other tires on my truck last winter, that I would not have survived it. I came around a corner on a major highway that was snow covered and icy and there was a Ford Ranger sideways in my lane. When I touched the brakes to slow down, I too went sideways, but the traction that these tires provided allowed me to steer around the truck even when I was almost out of control.
I highly recommend these tires to anyone who is serious about off road driving, or who does a lot of winter driving.

These are by far the best tire I've ever owned. I have them on my lifted Chevy 2011 Silverado Duramax and have gotten over 60k on them and they just hit the wear bars. I live in Montana and use them offroad, hunting and snowmobiling with no problems. I also travel a lot for work so they see the highway for long stretches and the rideis very nice for a 35"+ tire with 20" wheels. I will definitely be buying another set shortly!!!!!

These are the worst set of tires I've ever owned. I purchased them from a Goodyear dealer and they were very overpriced to start with(my fault for buying them). After 6k they started getting a little noise to them but it was not bad. By 12k they would shake your teeth out at 55 mph.Went back up to Goodyear and they recommended having them balanced, so I did and $90 later their was no change. Goodyear claimed they should be rotated every 3k and because I rotated them every 7k that the tires had "chop" to them and could not be balanced. What a load of crap, I've ran BFG's for 20k before rotating and never had this problem. These tires are also a death trap on wet asphault, notraction at all. If you are going to drive very little distance and just aroundtown then these may be the tires for you. If you are like most people and you drive a lot then stay away from the Goodyear Duratrac.
