Husky Heavy Duty Floor Mats are made in Polydurathene, a patented rubberized thermoplastic material developed specifically for automotive floor protection by Husky Liners. The material stays flexible in the most severe cold. It stays odor free, does not become sticky and retains its feel and durability even when the sun is scorching in the tropics. This exclusive material makes it possible for Husky to guarantee that the Heavy Duty mats will never warp, crack or break. The excellent properties of Polydurathene explain the unsurpassed durability of Husky Heavy Duty floor mats.

The intricate pattern of the mats is designed to keep your feet clean and dry. The high ridges scrape off snow and dirt from your feet. The deep channels between the ridges trap liquids, sand and mud and keep it away from your feet. A high lip around the perimeter contains the dirt and moisture until it is time for cleaning. The surface is made to repel dirt, and the pattern has an open design that is easy to clean. The liners come in custom or semi-custom designs for all parts of your vehicle floor - front seat, second and third row, and the center hump - for maximum protection.

The thickness of these mats and the height of the ridges also provide extra comfort. The high ridges not only keep feet dry and clean, they also provide a comfortable springy feel. Drivers will appreciate the extra thick and soft, reinforced heel pad provided for comfort and durability. If a customer against all odds manages to wear out this heel pad, Husky will replace it.

The Heavy Duty mats are custom made for the most popular vehicles in the market. For other vehicles they come in a semi-custom near-fit, with minor trimming necessary to achieve a perfect fit. The good fit, combined with the stable structure of the thick material, prevents the mat from shifting. To make absolutely sure that the mats do not slide around, Husky has applied their patented SPiN technology, featuring “Sta-Put in place Nibs” that dig into the OEM floor carpeting and hold the mat in place. The mats are also designed to fit OEM anchoring systems, which makes it absolutely impossible for drivers' mats to slide and interfere with the operation of the vehicle.

Husky Liners® is a brand of Winfield Consumer Products, a company started in 1988 by Bob Tyler in Winfield, Kansas. He had found that his passion for cleanliness was difficult to combine with his passion for fishing and hunting trips. Cleaning his vehicle after the outings was time consuming and tedious. He looked for real floor protection that didn't interfere with his driving and was easy to take out for cleaning. At that time there were no such products on the market. All he could find were flimsy, off the shelf, universal rubber mats that were designed to fit everything and thus fit nothing, mats that were sliding around, getting stuck under the pedals and leaving large areas unprotected.
