Selling a 1991 40 hp Johnson outboard. Was on a pontoon I bought, and I broke the lower unit. I replaced it, and, have since repaired it with new gears in lower unit, new water pump. I aLso put a new trim motor on and replaced seals in ram. The reason it broke was a faulty shift stop on the control allowed me to shift between gears without stopping. I do have a video of the unit running and shifting properly. In serious, please text me and I will send it to you. I am including a set of cables and some wiring that may help install.
